ECG Facilities Services were invited to tender for this World Famous Group of Legal Services and its portfolio of city centre buildings in August 2005. Following the commencement of the service contract, it quickly became apparent through ECG led initiatives that it would be beneficial to both parties to amortise both buildings and provide the client with have full time site based engineers working a split rota system. Subsequent to this combined with our proactive approach, the Client has steadily increased the number of buildings, which include London, Birmingham, Leeds and Glasgow.

As a result of the “2007 flooding” due to severe inclement weather, ECG handled all aspects of Irwin Mitchell’s disaster recovery programme in respect of M&E services and were credited for our professionalism and rapid response which ensured minimum disruption to the clients core business activities.

ECG Facilities Services were invited to tender for this prestigious portfolio in August 2007. After providing the Client with a comprehensive asset survey inclusive of a condition/life expectancy report, ECG FS were awarded a 5 year contract.
Overview
Since being awarded the contract, ECG FS have carried out dilapidation reports which detail any defects found on site. We are now taking measures to increase the profile of the sites by carrying out remedial works to the plant room equipment and cosmetic works to the buildings interior. We are also working closely with the Bruntwood Facilities Team to ensure that their plant/equipment is maintained to the highest standard, whilst producing best practice business cases for their comprehensive plant replacement programme.

Overview
ECG inherited a full FM department comprising of M&E technicians and building fabric operatives under TUPE regulations.
Working proactively with the management team, ECG are introducing optimised solutions to the centre to ensure the retailers receive the “best in class” service provision and enhance and extend the lifespan of the building’s plant / services.

Background
ECG FS was awarded the Contract in early 2004 to provide mechanical and electrical services maintenance and since this time has become a key service provider to West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive.
There are eleven main bus stations and various sub stations within the portfolio. In 2007 ECG FS were also awarded the Bus Shelter contract, which includes maintenance, reactive call outs and a planned lighting replacement programme including LCD displays.

In October 2008, ECG FS was successful in delivering a high spec solar lighting project to one of its largest and busiest stations in Yorkshire, “Bradford Interchange” This project was completed within the defined timescales and had to take account of working when the building is utilised by the public due to the 24/7 nature of the business

Overview
Vital to the operation of Orange Communications is the absolute necessity to keep critical plant operating to optimum efficiency at all times, to all 26 buildings through out the UK, to support its vast mobile network. During the past three years ECG FS have built on a solid working relationship with Orange Communications by meeting and surpassing Key Performance Indicators to ensure such critical plant remains in service at all times. Overview
From the inception of the contract in July 2008 we have worked to build relationships with the various tenants in the Crown buildings, and implemented a very robust maintenance regime to maintain the expected high standards this prestigious contract demands. Not only are we responsible for the mechanical and electrical requirements, we also maintain the building fabric giving added value through the 'one stop shop' ethos.

Early in 2009 ECG Facilities Services were invited to tender for the M&E maintenance contract to seven prestigious privately owned office blocks in central London. The tender process proved to be very exacting in its demanding detail, and we were delighted to be awarded the contract following a highly competitive presentation stage.
Overview
Since the initial contract start in early summer this year we have established a robust service regime to the highest possible standards as demanded by our client.
The buildings in question are of a standard second to none in the capital and it is testament to our own standards and commitment that the client, for achieving the exact level required, has praised ECG FS.
